Carcassonne Hunters and Gatherers is a whole new twist on the Carcassonne series of game. Set during the Stone Age, players lead tribes in the quest to dominate the land. Like the original Carcassonne game, players lay tiles to create a landscape that includes, animals, fish, forest, rivers, and mountains. They then send out their hunters and gatherers, build huts to live in and attempt to acquire the resources their tribe needs to survive and expand.

This is a brand new stand alone game, not an expansion. Players of the original Carcassonne will find this a similar game to what they know, but with a whole new set of challenges. For those who have never played Carcassonne, the rules are easy to learn and the game is fun and challenging to master. Since the board is created of tiles, the game is never the same game twice.
