This small 12 tile expansion replaces the normal start tile from the Carcassonne game and replaces it with the city of Carcassonne. The city offers new scoring opportunities and thus changes the strategy of the game. Also part of this little expansion is the Count himself. The Count always remains in one of Carcassonne's four quarters and affects follower movement.

The Count of Carcassonne contains twelve new tiles, a wooden count figure, and a small instruction sheet.

The Count of Carcassonne is not a stand alone game. The original Carcassonne is required in order to use this expansion.
