Dino is a dice game where players take turns rolling the dice and gathering points based on how many herds of herbivore dinosaurs they can form. Five of each die?s faces show an herbivore. The final face of the die shows a Tyrannosaurus Rex, a carnivore. Rolling a T-Rex causes you to lose a die to the T-Rex. Players may roll up to three times during their turn, but run the risk of encountering T-Rexes every time they do and thus losing members of their herds (and points). Losing a die removes the die from play for the rest of the player?s turn. The winner is the first to form enough herds to reach a predetermined point total.

The game is played with five six sided dice (each face of the dice has a dinosaur and a number etched into it: 1 is a red Triceratops, 2 is a blue Anklysaurus, 3 is a green Tyrannosaurus Rex, 4 is a black Stegosaurus, 5 is an orange Edmontosaurus [duck bill], and 6 is a purple Brachiosaurus).
