Between 1767 and 1805, wars convulsed India as Britain and France fought both each other and the powerful Indian kingdoms of Mysore, Hyberabad, and the Maratha Confederacy. Britain finally emerged in control of the ancient sub-continent, but it was, as one leader in these wars would say later, 'a near-run ting.' Soldier Raj is an exciting game for two to five players. The object of the game is to conquer rich lands for your empire, and stop your rivals from doing the same. Each Player has armies, fleets, and leaders to help accomplish this. But mostly, winning depends on the skill and guile of each Soldier Raj. Play this game separately or together with the acclaimed Soldier Emporer! (from the back of the box)
