Dunwich, a small village located along the Miskatonic, upriver from Arkham, is the subject of this thick volume from Chaosium on H.P. Lovecraft's famous village. Once a thriving mill community, the town was brought to ruin by members of the Whateley family who fell into the worship of strange unholy creatures from other places. The thriving community is no more and today the village of Dunwich is a place without a future. The secrets of the Mythos are still very much alive and investigators will find there is much to be discovered in this skeleton town.

H.P. Lovecraft's Dunwich begins with the famous story "The Dunwich Horror" written by Lovecraft and from there it expands on the story providing detailed information on the town, important people and locations, and its surroundings. A 17 x 22 inch map shows the village and several miles around. Two scenarios are included so investigators can get right into the action and many more are possible using the information in the book. Finally, this is a Dual System book so it includes statistics for the original version of Cthulhu throughout the text and a section of D20 statistics for use with Call of Cthulhu D20.

H.P. Lovecraft's Dunwich is suitable for beginning or experienced keepers and investigators. There are numerous black and white illustrations, the already mentioned 17 x 22 inch map, and twelve detailed handouts included.

H.P. Lovecraft's Dunwich is a jam-packed 192 page soft cover perfect bound book with black and white illustrations.
